Chris and Kate are the type to find a place in your heart and stay there for a long time! They are infectous, fun, loving, silly and I just adore them! I cried several times while shooting their wedding because they're love just gets to me and gives me hope! Thank you both for choosing me and trusting me! It has been a blessing getting to know you and becoming your friend. I hope that your life as newlyweds is more than you dreamed! Dress: Waters and Waters Church: Colonial Heights Baptist Church Flowers: Wendy Putt Cake: Village Confections Designed by bride and beautifully executed by this ministry AND it was YUMMY! Flower Girl Dresses: Sugar Britches Kids Here are a few of my faves from their wedding: Kate knew what she wanted and she designed her flowers and stage and Wendy did a phenom job of executing it!
Her dad picked out this necklace and surprised her with it...so sweet!
The first look...to die for!
This is where the waterworks began. Chris made Kate a chest from salvaged wood from homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and he wrote her a poem and carved it on the inside...SWOON! Kate had a painting done by her sis-in-law, Lydia Poore. See why I adore this couple so much!
A few juicy details. I styled the sets for their photos and I had a blast! Thanks to Rachel, my second shooter for helping me. I would've lost my mind without her!
One of my faves from the day!
This shot of Kate and her brother makes me smile...so sweet!
