Neil and Emily are so full of love.  They have this sweet, unassuming innocence that is a rare find these days.  But to top it all off...they are SO MUCH FUN!  They love to laugh together and those are some of my fave shots from this session.  I would pose them and then they would have their moment (that's my fave thing).  That's when the real magic happens and I think we made magic with these images :)!

We happened upon this bike in downtown Clinton.  It had a flat tire but totally went for it! 

That's Neil's grandmothers house in the background.  It's a special place to them.

Chris and Kate are SO FUN!  They have this adventurous spunk about them...not to mention that Kate love Anthropologie as much as I do :)!  I showed up at Kate's house for their engagement session and they had styled it to perfection and I was in HEAVEN!

We played in the woods, climbed trees, walked on train tracks at night, and got a little wet in a fountain.  Through it all, I have made new friends!  Thanks Chris and Kate for allowing me into your lives.  I CAN NOT wait to shoot your wedding in a few weeks!

Katie has been telling me for 2 YEARS that she was going to hire me to shoot her wedding once she was engaged.  So you can imagine my sheer delight when I found out Roger had proposed!  My delight grew when she did indeed hire me for her wedding AND her wedding is going to be in beautiful Seaside, FL.  I'm so excited I can barely stand it!

Roger and Katie have this sweet, playful love.  Watching them was such a joy.  I found myself chuckling to myself as I looked through my lens.  I hope you, too, can feel their love through these images.  They were a blast and did whatever crossed my crazy brain.  THAT is why I ADORE MY CLIENTS!

Roger and Katie...you two just make me smile!  I can not wait to shoot your wedding and hang out with you more!  Thanks for trusting me and choosing me to give you the images you will treasure forever.  You are why I do what I do!  Happy New Year!

I have teared up so many times as I've edited these images.  I actually shot them in May and July but since they are friends they've been pushed aside...

This is my best friend...the person who knows EVERY THING about me and still loves me.  We've been through some of our darkest times together and  she has held me in her arms and I've held her my arms and we've promised each other, "It will get better".  I think sometimes we whispered those words to each other doubting that it would but having faith that it must.  

IT HAS!

She is one of the most caring, nurturing, loyal, fun, silly, easy to be with and love people I know.  She is the life of the party, the light in the lives of many and when she smiles people smile too.  That's why these images brought such joyful tears.  I've NEVER seen her as happy as Jason Butler makes her.  I mean we can always make each other laugh but he makes her glow...she is absolutely radiant as a result of his love for her.

Jason, I've told you this before, but you make my heart sing with joy because of the way you love my dear friend.  Her nights of longing and questioning were answered in a moment when you asked her to be your wife.  The way you look at her and adore her and treasure her makes my heart melt.  It gives me hope for the man God has for me.  You are the man I prayed for for so many years.  You love Casey well...I can not wait to see where God takes you...and I can not wait to see you love your future child as you love Case!

Casey, you know how much I love you!  My heart leaps for joy at this new stage in your life...wife and now mom to be.  I see how Jason's love has changed you and given you back your spark, your confidence, your love for life and your hope.  But most of all he has given you the thing you've always wanted...a baby!  I'm overwhelmed with God's goodness!   Yes, I am crying now even as I write this!  Your love blesses me!  I CAN NOT wait to be an aunt to your sweet one.  I love all 3 of you with ALL the love in my heart!

WOW!  I met this couple through Aaron and Sarah (bump session) and I am so blessed to have met them.

We had so much fun walking around downtown Memphis, TN finding fun places...there was climbing, canoodling, maybe some slide bending and a whole lot of love and laughs.  Ben and Mindy have that kind of love that is contagious.  As I watched them through my lens I found myself smiling and laughing at their interactions.  I also had an entourage with Susan Prater and Jennie Lee.  Seriously...I love walking up with several photogs...I'm like "Bam...we're here to stalk you" :).  

They are insanely in love and it is so evident.  Thanks guys for allowing me to do your E Sesh!  I so wish I were shooting your wedding...I adore ya'll and wish all the love and laughter for your future!
