Page is one of my dearest friends.  We've known each other since we were kids (we may have gotten kicked out of first grade Sunday School for talking) :).  We didn't become close until our Freshman year of college and then it became a kindred friendship.  I love her so much!  She is honestly one of the most incredible and inspiring people I know.  She has a heart to see healing and freedom in others and has such a real, vulnerable relationship with Jesus.  She is a source of joy in my life.  We laugh nonstop when we are together.  

Kevin...you are Page's lobster!  There isn't a more perfect fit in the entire world for her than you!  I love watching you love her! I know that my dear friend will always be cared for and loved as long as you are married! Thank you for choosing her! Thank you for loving her. Thank you for showing me what a Godly husband looks like!

This session was a little bit of challenge but in a fun way!  Page is in a wheelchair and wanted to incorporate her chair in creative ways...and I think we ROCKED it!  Page is so beautiful and here are some of my fave hot shots from their session!

I met Justin and Magen while I lived in Texas.  We did a life training program together called Discovery and Magen and I were buddies.  Since our time in Dallas our lives have drastically changed.  Justin is now a chaplain for the Army and is serving our country overseas.

I was thrilled when Magen contacted me about doing boudoirs for several of the ladies on base (sorry, those are just for their hubs :) ).  We carved out some time to some fun shots of them.  They are both creative and up for anything!

Justin and Magen...I love you both!  Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives.  Ya'll are an example to me of how to make a marriage work by working hard!  Thanks for loving others selflessly.  You inspire me!

Brandon and Michelle are perfection!  They are so in love and hot...THAT is a killer combo :).

I met them in Nashville and we had a blast braving the cool weather around town coming up with some of my favorite images.  We may have gotten thrown out of a hotel..SHHHHH....don't tell :).  My philosophy...it's better to ask for forgiveness than have someone tell you NO and not get the shots...WE ROCKED THE SHOTS in the hotel and it was totally worth it!

Thanks you two for allowing me to hang out with you and capture your love!  It is a sweet love that I know will only grow stronger with time.  I wish you the best and look forward to more photo shoots in the future ;).

Oh my, I can not say enough about the amazing experience that was Love Affair!  I learned so much and God used it in so many ways to affirm His dreams for me, encourage me and challenge me.  I also walked away with some amazing, beautiful and talented new photog friends (more to come on that in a later post).  

On Wednesday, they split us up into groups of 4 photogs with models that they styled with pro hairstylists and make up artists.  Brandi and Lyndsey ya'll went above and beyond.  The styling was fantastic and each and every model looked stellar! Thanks to each make up and hair stylist...I was BLOWN away!  Great job! Info:

Our groups models were Adam and Ellie.  They've been married for a year and a half and they ROCK!  Vanessa and I pushed Ellie to her limits.  I think her legs were noodles when we got through with her, but she took breaks and hit every pose like a pro.  Adam was a champ and was just so comfortable being surrounded by 5 women (4 of which had cameras pointed in his general direction).  The best thing about them is their love.  You could feel it.  I almost cried hearing Adam talk about how hot and wonderful his wife is.  

Thanks Adam and Ellie for modeling for us.  I couldn't have wished for better models.  Thanks for letting us capture your love and affection for each other...thanks for being hot and doing WHATEVER we asked!  Hope ya'll enjoy these images!

 All the shots with the bamboo were taken INSIDE!!!  The natural light in there was perfection!

As I was shooting the one on the Left, a voice came over the loud speaker, "Move away from the building.  You are not allowedto take pictures of the outside of this building".  Honestly, I kept shooting because I had to ge this shot :).

The next 3 were taken in Tap, a wonderful pub.  Great interior space, great food and people!

I love this shot.  There is something so mysterious about shooting through a window.  I guess it just feels like intruding on a stolen moment.

Aren't they hotness?!?!?  I LOVE the one of Adam on the Right...it reminds me of a Ralph Lauren ad.  Adam said, "All I needed was my golf club"...that would've been PERFECTION!

Ta...da...This image was my 2nd place winner.  I was so overwhelmed.  If you had seen the quality of the work each woman had you would understand!  I also have to give props to my girl, Cristina, of Red Fly Studio who won first place.  I was so stinkin' proud of her!

Can you believe we found this ethereal wonderland in the MIDDLE of downtown Atlanta.  This is proof that if you go with an open mind, you can find a place to shoot ANYWHERE!

Ok, so I have to say this...when this image came up for critique Kelly Moore Clark said, "The only thing I see wrong with this image is that I didn't take it.  Don't be surprised if I steal it and put it on my blog".  She is my fave and I almost cried...ok, maybe I cried a little :).  That was the BEST encouragement I could've EVER gotten!

I have had such a great time getting to know Chance and Shelley.  They have such joy and their love is contagious!  We went to their hometown and did our day after shoot.  There were so many delicioius locations to choose from.  I could have stayed there for hours.  But we didn't have that many hours.  

I am in LOVE with the shots we got.  The landscape, the buildings, the railroads...it was a visual feast.  Hope you enjoy these shots...be sure to check out the slideshow at the end.
