POSTED IN GLAMOUR

I've known Dana for about 8 years.  Her sister Mandi was my roomie for 2 years in college.  What a hottie!!!  It was so great to shoot her and see her work it!  She is such a beautiful woman and person.  It has been a true joy getting to know her over the years.  It was worth the trip to Nashville to get to capture her beauty with my camera.  We went to Downtown Nashville and drove around and found these incredible niches.

Dana...I hope these images make you feel as beautiful as you are!  You are such a strong, amazing woman!

I believe "No Trespassing" is just an option...

Yes...there was a potty sitting out.  I couldn't help myself.  Dana worked it fearlessly!

I fell in love with this VW Bug.  The textures we found were amazing.

I LOVE the shot on the Left!

POSTED IN PERSONAL

Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
  Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.

  Getting to know you,
  Putting it my way,
  But nicely,
  You are precisely,
My cup of tea.

So, I've seen some fellow photogs introduce themselves and ask their blog friends to introduce themselves.

Here's 25 random things about me...
1. I love my family.  I really do...my mom, dad, stepmom, brother, sis-in-law, memaw.  If I were stranded on a island, I'd want them there with me.
2. I love my dog Lucy.  She is like my child.  She's funny and she makes me laugh.  She has the best personality...just like me.
3. My guilty pleasures are Cherry Coke ZERO, Baked Cheetos,  and cupcakes (Sprinkles in Dallas are my FAVE).
4. I LOVE shoes.  Well, okay maybe obsession is a better word.  I could be in Shoeaholics Anonymous.
5. If I were a shoe I'd be a Christian Louboutin...sexy, classic, with a little funk (the red sole...a little happy surprise).
6. I consume fashion magazines.  They fuel my passion, imagination and make me want to a better photographer.
7. My favorite magazines are...W, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Nylon
8. I've always loved fashion.  When I was in the 7th grade I would stay home and watch fashion shows.  It was like seeing living, breathing, walking art.  Even then, it inspired me.
9. I also get inspired by nature.  I enjoy being outside and seeing the glory of God surrounding me.  I always feel the presence of God in the mountains.
10. I believe in dreaming and dreaming big.
11. I think it's okay if you fall flat on your face.  When you get up, you can rise with pride knowing you tried.  If you try, you never have doubt.
12. I try not to use the word "should"...ie.."I should be doing this....I should be like this..."  I find it makes me sad.
13.  I believe in doing (which is why I don't like should).
14. If I want something, I will go for it with ALL of my heart.
15. I am fiercely loyal.  Once you are my friend, I will have your back...end of story!
16. I believe in fun.  I love to laugh, joke, and I LOVE playing practical jokes.
17. I believing crying.  I used to be emotionally shut down, but there is something so freeing about letting your guard down and just having a great cry.
18. I believe everyone should experience freedom.
19. I am obsessed with peacocks.  It started with peacock feathers and grew.  I have a peacock tattoo (my best friend, Casey, has a matching one).  The symbol of the peacock stands for beauty, power, and wholeness.  This has become my mantra.  It's why I have a peacock feather on my logo.
20. I collect vintage brooches, teacups, and teapots.
21. I was always the kid growing up with a camera making my friends pose for me.  Even then, I wanted to make them feel like superstars.
22. I love to travel.  I think we have so much to learn from other cultures.
23.  A few places I want to visit: Morocco, Egypt, Thailand, Kenya, and Italy.
24. I've traveled to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Ukraine, Turkey, England, and Honduras.  Most of these were for missions.
25. My deepest desire is to glorify God in my life.  That's it.  I know my life is making Him happy and I am living His dreams for me.

So, now that you know me...tell me a little about you.  So many people tell me they stop by but never leave me a love note.  I want to know who's visiting.  I want to know YOU!  Remember...you are FAB-YOU-LOUS.  Share that with me and others.

Stephanie is one of the fabulous ladies in Nashville that I had the honor of shooting.  She is an interior designer and needed some shots of her in one of the houses she designed.  We went to this wonderful home and had a blast.  We jumped on beds, sat on tables, drank a little, and Stephanie totally rocked it for me.  I can't tell you how blessed I am to have such beautiful people to photograph.  It's really not fair!

Stephanie, I had a blast with you!  It was so fun watching you come out of your shell and seeing what a talent you have for beauty.  You are so much fun!  Thanks for letting me take these shots!

POSTED IN WEDDINGS

Meet Robyn and her hubby Cecil.  Robyn and I grew up together.  I mean there were years where we were inseperable.  She met the man of her dreams and they got married a few weeks ago.  I was so flattered that they asked me to shoot the wedding.  It always makes it more special when you know the family...extra stress, but more special.  Here's the sneaky peaky...Stay tuned for more of their truly Southen wedding!

Robyn's brother found this locale...thanks Jayson...these shots came out amazing!

I love this shot!

She is so stunning!

The one on the left reminds me of something from the 50's...so fun.

They threw popcorn as they left.  I LOVE that idea.

One word...HOT!  We shot the next few at The Alluvian in Greenwood, MS.

I adore the old car that her dad got.  I call it the Pimp-mobile.
