Well, it's been a whirlwind of going here and there and everywhere (I feel like Dr. Seuss right now). I have to admit, I'm trying very hard to stay possitive about the "I'm a walking, breathing Nomad" thing. My car is a disaster. I'm living out of a suitcase crammed to the rim with fall and winter clothes. I continue to put rediculous amounts of miles on my car. BUT...yes, there is a but in this pity party of mine...I'm doing what I love! That is the thing that keeps me going. With each family and couple I meet and photograph, I grow to love my job more and more. Each "client" leaves a mark on my life and I walk away a better person because of something I learned from them. So, even though I've learned the nomad life is NOT the life for me, I wouldn't trade this time for anything in the world. Thanks to each of you for choosing ME! There are thousands of photogs to choose from and you chose ME! I can't thank you enough for letting me into your worlds with my camera to give you images that you will make you smile. Here are some sneaky peakies into a few of those sessions: Katie and Roger: Thomasville, GA I think Katie has been telling me for 2 years that she wanted to hire me for her wedding and the day has come!!! i was thrilled when I got her email telling me that Roger had popped the question and they were getting married...IN SEASIDE, FL! We did an E Sesh while I was in Thomasville. OH MY...greatness...that's all I can say! These are their Morkie puppies. I want one SO BAD! So stinkin' cute! And can I just say it...De LISH light...
Love the cheekiness of this one...
Hi, I watch ANTM and I know how to work it!
A FAVE for sure!
I love this shot. It just captures them.
My title for this one is "Retro Lovin"
The Odens: What a great family. The love that these three have for each other is infectious! We had lots of smiles, laughter and serious ANTM moments. Gracia (pronounced Graysha) loves the show and practiced some of the most fierce poses for me. This was her Grandma's hat...I LOVE a little vintage flair!
I can not tell you how happy it makes me to see daddies loving on their little girls!
This is such a sweet moment...
Singing in the rain...what a glorious feeling...
We had a little family time at a bakery in downtown Canton. For more of that goodness...stay tuned for the full post. Until then, here's a lip smaking sneaky peak :).
Yes...we are hotties!
Gracia loves to twirl...
and swing...
One of my faves from the day!
The Hadleys: Katrice won her session at the Jackson Academy silent auction and was so excited to have me shoot her family. What fun we had. They have vivacious twin boys and they are ALL boy! They rolled around, threw a few punches and even smiled for the camer occasionally. I just think this is such a sweet family! I told you...ALL BOY!
LOVE this one!
Katrice...get your Kleenex :)...
This one feels so retro to me...
A fave for sure!
That barn with all that texture is a dream for me! My choice for the Christmas card pic ;)
The Tanksleys: I went to high school with Peggy Jo and was thrilled when she called for me to shoot her family. OH MY...these two kiddos were balls of lots and lots of energy. I love that...it forces me to be creative and figure out cool ways for them to expell that energy for a great photo. What a fun famiy! I told Peggy Jo and Jamie to kiss and this was the kids reaction ;)...
The next 2 of the kids...I LOVE!
The light, composition and passion in this one...yummy!
I sometimes wonder if there is such a thing as using too much sun flair...I say NO!!! I adore it because I get amazing images like this one...
Dads...don't forget to twirl your little girls...those are sweet moments they will treasure forever!
I love how natural and fun this one is.
Thanks to Tallahatchie Flats for opening up one of your units.
Georgia: What a fun, spunky, sassy girl after my own heart! I had so much fun with Georgia and we played dress up and played in the woods. It was lovely. It was a rare shoot for me at 8 a.m. The light at that time of day is so lovely. I really need to shoot it more! She thought she was famous and kept putting things up to block her face :).
I LOVE this one! She totally did this on her own.
She was patiently waiting to devour the milkshake we bribed her with...YES I did it and I'd do it again :)...
I love the joy in this one...the light just accentuates that mood!
Possibly one of my faves! She was holding her princess want up to my lens. I just adore it!
