I have teared up so many times as I've edited these images.  I actually shot them in May and July but since they are friends they've been pushed aside...

This is my best friend...the person who knows EVERY THING about me and still loves me.  We've been through some of our darkest times together and  she has held me in her arms and I've held her my arms and we've promised each other, "It will get better".  I think sometimes we whispered those words to each other doubting that it would but having faith that it must.  

IT HAS!

She is one of the most caring, nurturing, loyal, fun, silly, easy to be with and love people I know.  She is the life of the party, the light in the lives of many and when she smiles people smile too.  That's why these images brought such joyful tears.  I've NEVER seen her as happy as Jason Butler makes her.  I mean we can always make each other laugh but he makes her glow...she is absolutely radiant as a result of his love for her.

Jason, I've told you this before, but you make my heart sing with joy because of the way you love my dear friend.  Her nights of longing and questioning were answered in a moment when you asked her to be your wife.  The way you look at her and adore her and treasure her makes my heart melt.  It gives me hope for the man God has for me.  You are the man I prayed for for so many years.  You love Casey well...I can not wait to see where God takes you...and I can not wait to see you love your future child as you love Case!

Casey, you know how much I love you!  My heart leaps for joy at this new stage in your life...wife and now mom to be.  I see how Jason's love has changed you and given you back your spark, your confidence, your love for life and your hope.  But most of all he has given you the thing you've always wanted...a baby!  I'm overwhelmed with God's goodness!   Yes, I am crying now even as I write this!  Your love blesses me!  I CAN NOT wait to be an aunt to your sweet one.  I love all 3 of you with ALL the love in my heart!

Ashley and Mandi are one set of almost ALL of my friends who had babies this year.  I honestly can not get enough of my friends little additions.

Each baby is a miracle but I am so thankful that little Rinks is here.  You see, there was a time when we thought his parents might not make it as a couple.  I am inspired by their love and commitment.  I KNOW marriage is hard...it's work daily to love the person that God gives.  They almost gave up but they decided to honor their commitment and grow with each other and not apart.  As a result we have baby Rinks.

Ash and Mandi...I love you both!  I am so thankful that you chose each other...that you chose to stay with each other.  I know that every day isn't easy but I KNOW that your love is real...Rinks is proof of that!  Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey!  I love your sweet boy and can't wait to see the future musician that is Rinks Gaskin.

1. This time last year I had a full time job with Verizon Wireless (the nice constant paycheck was glorious)

2. There wasn't a thought in my mind about leaving GA

3. My best friend, Casey, hadn't even met her now husband

4. I was still dreaming of being a full time photog

5. I used to dream about having photog friends and living a crazy, fun life...

Here's where I am now...

1. I'm officially moving back to MS on Jan 9th...WHAT?!?!?!?

2.I leaped off of the scariest cliff of all time to quit my job and pursue photography...some days I wonder what was I thinking but most days I just praise God that I get to do what He created me to do.  

3.Casey has married the man of her dreams, Jason I(in July).  He adores her, loves her, treasures her and he puts up with me too :).  AND SHE JUST FOUND OUT SHE'S PREGO...I'M GONNA BE AN AUNT!!!!  YAY YAY YAY!!!!

4. I AM a full time photog...just typing that brings tears to my eyes!

5. I have an abundance of amazing friends...new and old...photogs and normal people :). I am living the life I used to read about and I am so so blessed.  I love you all dear friends...thanks you for your unending support and belief in me!

This is the day that Jesus chose to give up the glory and splendor of heaven to be born...to be born to die.  It never ceases to baffle me when I think about it.  I praise Him for choosing to live among sinners so I could be free.  I am overwhelmed that he chose to give His life so I could be free.  I am speechless that He loves me and finds joy in my joy.  I am incandescently overjoyed that He created me with a purpose and that is to be a photog...AND THAT BRINGS HIM GLORY AND GIVES HIM JOY! JOY TO THE WORLD THE LORD HAS COME!

 This is a Walter Anderson print my bro and I gave my mom years ago. It's up all year around and I LOVE it!

 As you get swept away in the loveliness of today...take the time to look at that baby in the manger and think about ALL He has done for you.  What a Savior!  

I pray that each of you has a Merry Christmas filled with all the love and blessings in the world.  I am so thankful for each of you for reading my blog, for supporting me, for believing in me, for challenging me to follow my dreams.  You are why I'm here...well that and the Creator of the Universe created me to capture life :).  What year.  I can only dream BIG dreams about what is to come.  I KNOW that I KNOW that 2010 is going to be monumental for b. mo foto.  I give all glory to God.  Without Him, I'm just a silly girl with a camera...with Him...I'm a silly girl with a camera and purpose.

Graham is the sweet pumpkin that belongs to my dear friends Jason and Courtney.  I've posted them several times A. Because I love them B. because they let me shoot them :) and C. Dr's said they wouldn't be able to have kids.  Well...Dr's...here's proof of miracles!

Graham is so fun...sweet and personality...he has it in abundance (of course with parents like Jason and Court he had no choice) :).  Jason and Court...I am so happy for ya'll!  You are amazing parents and I love you all SO much!
