They are infectous, fun, loving, silly and I just adore them!

I cried several times while shooting their wedding because they're love just gets to me and gives me hope! Thank you both for choosing me and trusting me! It has been a blessing getting to know you and becoming your friend. I hope that your life as newlyweds is more than you dreamed!

Kate knew what she wanted and she designed her flowers and stage and Wendy did a phenom job of executing it!

















Her dad picked out this necklace and surprised her with it...so sweet!







The first look...to die for!







This is where the waterworks began. Chris made Kate a chest from salvaged wood from homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and he wrote her a poem and carved it on the inside...SWOON! Kate had a painting done by her sis-in-law, Lydia Poore. See why I adore this couple so much!













A few juicy details. I styled the sets for their photos and I had a blast! Thanks to Rachel, my second shooter for helping me. I would've lost my mind without her!

Doran is one of those people that you meet and you feel like you've known them for 20 years. I had so much fun traveling to Birmingham to get to meet her family. They spoiled me and took me to one of my fave restaurants, Flip Burger.

We had the best time getting to know each other, traveling around The Ham and ending up at random places filled with photo op goodness.

Doran, thanks for quickly becoming one of my biggest fans. I can't wait to shoot more special moments to come! You're amazing!

It's hard sometimes when we get wrapped up in life, weddings, family shoots, friends, etc to find the time. When I shoot for myself it means no boundaries and I can do whatever I want and be super duper creative. A lot of times I will find models and stage a shoot.

On this occasion, my friend Heather Thorne and I had visions of grandeur to style it like crazy but it just didn't work out due to bad weather leading up to the shoot. But we were able to get a group of lovely ladies together to do a fun shoot where we styled them to the nines. Heather and I work so well together and I had a blast shooting with her. Also, Elisabeth, one of the ladies is also a photog and she helped me out with Trey and Britt's wedding.

We had so much fun doing this fashion shoot! Did I mention how beautiful these girls are? Oh my...I could shoot them all day!
